These past few weeks have been a disaster!!!! I dunno where u ppl find the time to update your blogs on a daily basis! Although my lack of it is probably due to procrastination, procrastination and of course... anime he he.
Well on to college. My Malaysian studies ISU (Independent Study Unit) has been a major disaster. Funny how it takes 1 unreliable team mate to ruin everything... and this counts for 15% of my final grade. I'm doomed I tell you! Cuz the worst thing is that I'm stuck with that I-only-do-the-minimum princess as a team mate for this major bit of work. We had to build a model of a sports complex that focuses on all traditional games from every race (our idea on how to improve Malaysia) out of recyclable items. It definitely looked like crap and I was stuck with most of the donkey work. Luckily my other group mate was good.
I managed to miss my Business Management group presentation too in the process. That was my first time ever screwing up ANY form of group work. Worst thing is i managed to screw up twice in one day! My teacher's gonna have my guts man...
The only thing that went well was my physics poster project. We did research on the phenomenon of light and made a pretty poster of, you guessed it... a RAINBOW (trot out the unicorns). A friend of mine made the project worse though. The conversation went something like this:
JC: Mr Smajda, are you going to ask us questions during our presentation?
Mr. S: I wasn't thinking about it JC but now that you mention it, I think it's a great idea!
Class: JC!!!!!!!!!
Gawd, the guy has no idea when to keep his mouth shut man! Since my group and I didn't want to be attacked, we came up with a strategy:
ANSWER EVERY POSSIBLE QUESTION ABOUT THE RAINBOW.
That way he didn't have anything to ask us =D. Best idea ever.
Last weekend was pretty good. I managed to complete 3 and a 1/2 hours of community service at the SPCA. Only 5 and a 1/2 to go (completed only 1 hour last sem). If I don't get this done, I don't get to graduate... sucks. Can't believe how some people can just throw their dogs away.
As for today, I went for an audition for a show that my sister's ex-senior is doing (she's already graduated from Media and Performing Arts). It's got dance in it so we just tried it out for fun. I'll keep you guys updated on whether or not I do get picked. It was an interesting experience. After we performed our planned and practiced routines, she gave us some music to freestyle to. That made me a little nervous since I don't think I'm very good at freesytling but it turned out just fine. My sis and I interacted with each other during that session. It was fascinating. Kinda like an action reaction thing, push and pull, up and down. Then, when my sister's other friends came to audition, her senior Helena, asked me to play a guy's part for Charlene, who happens to have a very girlish style of dancing, kinda in-the-club-look-at-me-I'm-hot style. She was freestyling alone at the time. So I kinda had to put myself in a guy's shoes and ask myself If I were a guy, what would I do? It was really weird since I NEVER act like that (the sex appeal vibe) even with guys as guys are buddies =D (me growing up small and cutesy looking i think) but it really gives me insight on what actors have to do sometimes... nothing but respect for them now (especially for those dudes in Brokeback Mountain). She really knew how to take advantage of the masculine guy vibe though. Scary lol!
Also been introduced to Cyanide and Happiness. Will put some up on this blog +_+. There. You finally have new material to read ppl! Now dun bug me for the next few months! =P

Insane in the Membrane...
Hooboy what a week! I've been up to my neck in work and now I finally have the time to tell some very nosy ppl what's been going on in my miserable life lol. I learned something very interesting about politicians. They earn a crazy 5 figure monthly income in the People's Rep. Hall. This ain't even the Dewan Negara man!!! I'm not gonna be too specific about the details in case I get into trouble for this (fingers crossed). The future of our ppl is in the hands of guys who walk into Parliament and read the newspaper before leaving. Some of them even turn up an hour before the deliberations end!!!! If I were there I could earn the cost of my education overseas in 4 months by simply turning up to prove that I were at the meeting... This is definite proof that there's something funky going on around here...
Next up my weekend. I got royally pissed with my dad for being such a lump at home. Everyone else is rushing to get work out of the way while he sits there and watches the damn golf channel. Mum's the one earning the money so he can't really demand that she do stuff (Thank God!). He can even call my sis and I from upstairs to help him dry the bloody dogs downstairs. WE'RE doing OUR work. What has HE been doing? NOTHING!!!! That's what! Before that he asked me to cut my corgi's nails which I CANNOT do since my dog tends to try to bite me and jerk around. He tells me "Oh I was just waiting to see how long it would take you to actually cut Rusty's nails. You let him walk around the cage until he gets tired, then cut his nails." HELLO! I have better things to do with my time than wait for my dog to tire himself out. I had an assignment to do! HE could have done it himself in 10 minutes. OK I'm done venting...
It was still a pretty good weekend regardless of my dad's shenanigans. Went for a dog show and I think I've fallen in love with Saint Bernards!!!! They're HUGE 60kg monsters and extremely adorable. You seriously see all sorts of weird and wonderful dogs. Afghan hounds have nicer hairdos than I do, I still feel like murdering every Pomeranian I come across and I found out how out of shape my Chow Chow is lol. I'll be uploading pictures soon enough =). The dogs kinda speak for themselves.
Today was quite an experience. I still have 9 hours of community service to perform or else I can't graduate from my course... Shit... Anyways I participated in an engagement and wedding ceremony today. Whose you ask? Mine of course! I got engaged and married in the same day, Malay style =P. My group was giving the class a little taste of the Malay culture. I've had rice, tepung tawar water and salt sprinkled on me; my hands still have marker pen drawings on them to symbolize inai (can't get the darn drawings off) and I was dressed in a borrowed baju kurung that was amazingly comfortable. My "husband" was half dressed. Not literally of course. Baju Melayu top and jeans bottom... at a wedding.
Physics near addled my brain. Why can't these ppl just make up their minds on the rules they want to teach us??? Masses attract each other gravitationally speaking. NOW we're learning that they DON'T do that. The mass deforms the space. This causes other masses to follow that deformed space. What the hell is that!! And we're being tested on this topic this Friday. Somebody shoot me now... Went for French and Japanese club. I so ADORE these two languages lol. Subarashii ne... Stayed back after that to do a dance with my sis and her friends. We're gonna be performing in 7 weeks. Wish me luck!!!
Owarimasu. Oyasuminasai minna-san! Mata ne/A la prochaine!
Oh yeah, note to Jin. My cuz's name is Denissa lol. Vanessa's close though.

There's Still Egg All Over My Fingers...
Today was fairly uneventful, fun but still routine. Did the strangest activity in Business Management class. We had to present our ideas on what methods we would use to keep a dog and cat from fighting with each other. Hell if it were up to me I'd side with any dog in the world rather than a stinking, ungrateful cat. Method 1: Cat in, Dog out. A common practice. Method 2: Give them mates (definitely NOT my idea), 3: Give them a common enemy... rats and 4: A special patented collar that squirts water up their noses the mo they get too close. Then after that we're supposed to somehow link these methods to how we would deal with OUR conflicts daily (squirts water up nose?!) and how they can be used in international trading affairs.
IDC was uneventful 'nuff said...
We have a new project for Physics =). Create an apparatus that will somehow keep an egg from breaking when dropped 12m from the ground... There are too many anal rules to this darn lab! Anyhoo, we're gonna have an audience when we drop these eggs off the 2nd floor of college so our apparatus has to be pretty and sparkly. Had to calculate the energy it takes to crack the damn egg, hence the disgusting yolk all over my fingers. Group name: The Yolk-kels. Worst pun I've ever thought of in my life. Coincides with the day of our test. Trust Mr.S to be THAT sadistic.
Wong's left for Ireland again. Weird how things turn out. This past Merdeka holiday has been the best I've had where I've actually spent time with friends who are NOT family. Badminton, the bane of my life has helped me lose 2kg lol! In merely 2 sessions too. And I was doing all this with people I never really knew were alive in school (Dj excluded). We were kinda stupid in that sense... all that wasted time simply being in the same place, yet not even in the same universe from our total lack of interaction lol. I find out Tinesh is nice and a great team player, Eugene CAN talk a lot more than he lets on =), and that Wong is actually witty lol. Dj's still the same noisy thing that I know he is (he's even louder now! lol). Never thought that I would one day enjoy their company and BADMINTON of all things. All this after we leave school.
A message to life: Nice screwball you've thrown right in my face. Thanks (I've found someone to beat in Mario racing lol).
